About Your Dental Benefits

You have the ability to purchase dental insurance benefits on a pre-tax basis. UNE provides the option to choose between two dental plans through Northeast Delta Dental so that you can elect a plan that works best for you.

Once enrolled in benefits, we recommend that you regularly review your contact information (mailing address, email, and phone number) with elected insurance carriers to make sure it is up-to-date.

Learn more about your dental coverage in the Dental Summary Plan Description (PDF); by visiting the UNE Dental-Enhanced or Dental-Basic webpages; or visiting the Delta Dental website which includes a list of in-network participating providers.

It is important to note that services are based on a rolling 12-month period, not a calendar year period. For example, diagnostic/preventive evaluations are covered twice in a rolling 12-month period.
